Pink Townhouse Watercolor

This pink townhouse watercolor was commissioned as a graduation present from a mother to a daughter. Her daughter spent much of her time in college living in the rather distinctive little pink house with several of her friends. She had me paint the original to frame for her daughter and had me make prints to …

Gap/Rue Magazine Party

Recently I was asked to do some live fashion sketches at a Gap/Rue Magazine Party. The local Styld By event was wonderfully done by Sweet Pea Events’ Kelly Simants and Meaghan Cody. I sketched the fun and colorful outfits the party goers put together and they got to take their sketches home as unique party …

Virginia Cook, Realtors Cookbook Cover Art

Earlier this year I was asked to create cover art for a book of personal recipes put together by Virginia Cook, Realtors. They wanted a soft and clean look with yellow roses on a black background. I achieved this look with a combination of watercolor and gouache.

Rudy, King Charles Cavalier Spaniel

This is a 12″x12″ acrylic portrait. Rudy’s family wanted something modern and colorful. They requested either a citrus yellow or a hot pink background. I chose the citrus yellow because I thought it would contrast nicely with his reddish fur. His family was thrilled with his portrait.

Bridesmaid and House Party Sketches

In October I got an e-mail from a mother-of-the-bride asking if I could come sketch the bridesmaids and house party while they were all getting ready at her house. I drew about 14 fashion sketches of the ladies in about 3 hours while they were getting their hair and make-up done and having some lunch. …
